For 25 years, we have provided a comprehensive, and highly successful, social skills program!
We are currently offering groups for ages 6 through 12. Groups include: In-office, game and conversation based 4th and 5th grade boys; "KIDS OUT AND ABOUT", ages 8-13, enjoying community activities, new experiences, and creating friendships and belonging; and our newest addition - "Crafty Chatters" - ages 6-8. Groups for pre-k are anticipated to begin in the winter.
Peer groups for children range from ages from four to fourteen. Our groups are formed according to age and overall skill levels, so the children are "well-matched". In-office groups frequently incorporate games, projects, food crafts, and snacks. Individual social skills are directly taught and practiced. Additionally, "Kids Out and About", ages eight to thirteen, brings our students around the community to build functional recreation enjoyment, peer social belonging and friendship, and positive independent behavior
Current students can be placed in appropriate social skills groups upon parent request or with therapist recommendation. New families, please call us at 732-617-8255 for initial evaluation/consultation to determine and discuss your child's skills, needs and goals.
