Social Skills Program

Our long running, comprehensive, and highly successful social skills program includes peer groups for children ranging in ages from four to fourteen. Our groups are formed according to age and overall skill levels, so the children are "well-matched". In-office groups frequently incorporate games, projects, food crafts, and snacks. Individual social skills are directly taught and practiced.

In addition, we offer two "specialized" groups: an in-office group for children with a history of selective mutism/limited speaking in the school setting; and "Kids Out and About," ages nine to thirteen, which brings our students around the community to build functional recreation enjoyment, peer social belonging and friendship, and positive independent behaviors.
